Natanael Repta, DMD
When I was ten years old, I had a biking accident. I broke both of my front teeth. It was a painful experience that I won’t forget. At the time my greatest fear was that I would have to go back to school toothless. I was extremely grateful when I learned that I would get my crowns cemented just before the new school year started. The dentist did a marvelous job of making my teeth look completely natural. It was at this time that a seed was planted to pursue dentistry. I knew that I wanted to do something productive and useful that affects people in a meaningful way. Dentistry fit both of those categories and made me realize how much a person’s self-esteem is reflected in their smile. From this early age, dentistry greatly affected me and became my goal and desired career.Dentistry is something that I enjoy and am passionate about. Through the years, I found that I was meticulous in the work I produced, and I take pride in perfecting my skills. I am proud to stand by my work. I realize the one thing that can distinguish me from my colleagues is the high standards that I set for myself. I desire my work to be distinguished and to merit value. I believe that success in the dental profession requires good characteristics that lead to professional and superior oral healthcare. I believe that my experiences and my detail-oriented personality have enabled me to mature and prosper in this field. I am confident that in the future, my character will guide me to do my very best as a dentist.
